I spent much of the day in a lecture. Well, Sometimes duty calls. But, a friend and I did manage to escape for lunch to one of my favorite French cafes in San Francisco
Cafe Claude sits just inside a small alley, and is like stepping through the doors into a brasserie in Paris.
I enjoyed the Quiche Lorraine
And for dessert……
We split the Dessert du Jour, the Bread Pudding with a caramel sauce. Quite tasty.
Cafe Claude located on its own Claude Lane. It is off Union Square, so it is convenient for lunch during the work day or during a day of shopping.
