Stitch Fix

I recently realized once I looked at my outfit, that I was clad almost completely in Stitch Fix clothes.  I can’t believe I recently received my 15th box from Stitch Fix.  It is a fun service to receive new clothing options.  I receive a box nearly monthly and get to chose among five items.

I like to shop, but I often shy away from prints because I don’t want to show up somewhere wearing the same thing as someone else – again.  (Yes, it has happened.)  But, with Stitch Fix, I feel more confident that I will be wearing something on trend, interesting and unique.

If you are new to Stitch Fix, this is how it works:

1. Start by filling out our your style profile  – you will provide information on sizing, pricing, preferences, and colors. You can also write notes about likes/dislikes. Make sure to use Pinterest to pin the kinds of items you are interested in and link your  board on Pinterest so your futurist stylist knows what you like!

2. Order your first fix! There is a $20 styling fee for each fix. However, if you keep any item more, the  $20 will be credited toward the purchase.  You will receive 5 items [made up of clothing, jewelry, and handbags]. You can also opt out of certain items, if you don’t want to receive dresses or accessories, you can specify that!

3. When you receive your box, try everything on.  See what looks good on you, how things look with items you already have in your closet.   Then, decide what you want and what you want to send back in the postage paid envelope provided. (Easy!)  You have 3 business days to make your choices.  I am often sent clothes that I would not normally pick up in a store.  But, it’s nice to be exposed to different fashion choices.  Sometimes it’s an immediate yes, or an immediate NO, or sometimes things grow on you.  That’s what makes Stitch Fix so fun!

Here are a couple of the pieces I received recently.

I really like the top, it’s a bit more boho than something I would usually pick out, but that is part of the process of finding your style and what works for you.

Stitch Fix has the best jeans.  The sizing is almost always perfect.  It is worth it for the jeans alone.
This moto jacket is fun and comfy.  So glad I kept this one.

    1. Thanks for your comments. The social media buttons, including pinterest, are at the bottom of the post – right after the last picture. It should allow you to pin to your board. Have fun with your next box!
